Tech and Magic is a webring for original sci-fi and fantasy content online, including webcomics, fiction, music, and more. You probably arrived here from one of our members' sites, which means that you might also like any of our member sites listed below!

What is a webring?

Good question! Webrings are an old concept from the late 90s - early 2000s, where a group of personal websites, usually on a theme, would group together in a circle of links. You could easily hop from site to site with a link in a simple widget, like the one you probably clicked to get here. Everyone benefits, since readers can easily find sites with content they're interested in, and website owners can get more views from new readers!

Can I join?

If you're a creator making original content that falls into the sci-fi or fantasy genres, probably yes! We go by a generally loose definition of those genres, so if your work falls anywhere near them, you're probably good to go. Here are our general rules:

• Due to the random nature of navigating a webring, we cannot accept NSFW/18+ content, as there's no way to warn anyone before they land on it.
• Your site must update at least semi-frequently. Hiatuses are OK as long as you have a planned return date.
• You have to be able to edit the code for your site to add the webring code that links us all together. If you publish your work on a site like Webtoons that doesn't allow this, there is a workaround you can use.
